Can you think of any movies that are negatively effected by the presence of a psychologist (or someone who tries to explain what's wrong with the lead character)? I want to avoid them!
Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho is a nearly perfect movie until the 2nd to last scene, which goes on for too long. Herk Harvey's Carnival of Souls, a movie I also really like, throws in a useless psychologist in the last quarter. And Jacques Tourneur's Cat People is another culprit. |
