Considering Criterion has a relationship with Sony, and they also have a relationship with Martin Scorsese, why not?
But then again, it could also go to Twilight Time or Mill Creek as well...

No, no special features what so ever.
The menu is in English, but it's just 'movie, scenes, or set up'.
The disc is region A B and C.

Just received my copy from Amazon.it and have watched the first 20 or so minutes. The picture and audio quality are of stunning, if not reference, quality! Excellent work by Sony.

The disc features a static menu background image of Daniel Day Lewis and Michelle Pfeiffer with the opening music theme from the film.

The Italian version comes in a thinner, US-style Elite case and with a glossy slipcover.

Sadly, as mentioned in previous posts, there are no extras whatsoever, nary a trailer. Still, very much recommended to fans of the film for PQ/AQ alone.

One of my favourite films. Looking at the screencaptures it is an impressive transfer.

How long before this comes to the UK ie with English titling ? Any ideas ? I have several other Sony remastered titles and while I am quite happy to purchase titles from abroad for the sake of appearance I would prefer an English title on the spine.

That said it is extremely tempting to do away with my DVD right now.
