Farhadi is great, and the cast is great..... so this should be great. Hoping the Leonard Cohen song of the same name makes its way into it.

Will be interesting to see if/how working with big international stars will impact Farhadi's storytelling and sensibility. Obviously, he's worked with some of Iran and France's biggest stars, but this seems like a step up.

There's no official release date yet but I imagine Focus will do a limited run at the end of December and then expand it over the winter months since it seems like a pretty certain contender for the Foreign Oscar.

As always I will have to wait for the blu-ray. Foreign films rarely reach our shore. Which reminds me I still need to see The Salesman.

Rated 4 stars in the poll. Some critics may be getting impatient with Farhadi's trademark dramatic formula built on deep-seated social/familial resentment and deceptively significant incidents, but I still find it compelling.

I really want to see this, but it's only showing at premium/art house theaters here. Very unlikely to hit AMC theaters or anything.

I've never seen any of the guys films, though I have been reading about his works for about a year now. All his films sound great, and are about subjects that I like.

I need to get started on his filmography. With this cast it seems a good place to start (I love Bardem, he's one of my favorite actors). Really tho, I'll probably pick up one of his other films cause I probably won't want to wait for the blu ray.

I like A Separation and About Elly the most.

I’ll be waiting for the blu-ray again for this one.

I've seen four of his films (A Separation, The Past, The Apartment, and this one), and find them all equally solid. They don't differ wildly in terms of structure, style, and theme, so any would be a good place to start.
