Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire 4K Blu-ray Steelbook

Sony have plans for this one. Currently set for a June release.

Will be curious to see if there is any steelbook or other exclusive. Sony didn't do a steelbook for Ghostbusters Afterlife i think. There was just the ghost trap packaged Ultimate Collection of the three original continuity films.

There was a steelbook release in the UK for Afterlife (not sure about rest of world). Hoping for a Steelbook release for this too. The promotional art they've been putting out would look good on a steel

Yeah,but no steelbook in the U.S.I can imagine some of the poster art with the icy iconography working well on a steelbook.

Even just the teaser poster would look dope i think on a steelbook.

I have the Ultimate Collectors Edition set and this would pair nice with those slip covers which were each films logo against the black backround like the Frozen Empire teaser above..

Is the steelbook going to be exclusive to Amazon or is it a general release steelbook?Meaning it will be at multiple retailers.

They're using that art for the Walmart exclusive Blu Ray + DVD combo steelbook in the U.S.

Interesting! They've kind of switched things round here across the pond with this being the tradewide release and the other one being a HMV exclusive. Both 4K + Blu-ray thankfully

It's also kind of weird how the previous film, Afterlife didn't get any steelbook in the U.S. I'm not a fan of the pop art style but I know a lot of people like it. They did this style of art for Ghostbusters 1 & 2 and the reboot. It makes me wonder if they will eventually put out a pop art steelbook for Afterlife at some point for people who want a whole set.

Enjoyed the movie. Would love to see some of the deleted scenes that were in the trailers/commercials. But Afterlife didn't have any and they still havent released all of Ghostbusters IIs, so im not very hopeful.

Good enough movie, I’ll definitely be getting it! Won’t need to be a day 1 purchase though. I wonder if they’ll do some kind of new box set with the other three.(I’d be fine if there wasn’t… I’ve bought the first Ghostbusters SO many times lol)

interesting the cover on this site shows this being a UHD + Blu + DVD + Digital combo I think that's the first time Sony did one of these

Unbelievable, now there are competing 4K or Bluray steelbooks?

I preordered the 4K one from Amazon.
The Bluray art seems in line with the pop art versions previously released for 1, 2, and Answer The Call. I won’t get both, just want the 4K.
