That price, though.

These two artworks are starting to grow on me, but nearly $60 for these two films is too much.

I can't say the same if this were 5 years ago. They'd be preordered with no thought at all.

And by all indications it appears that this is literally only the 4K disc included in each of these. Nothing on the packaging, the sticker, or the listing on Best Buy's site indicates the inclusion of the regular Blu-Ray.

Given how almost-standard it has been for 4K discs to come with the regular BD disc, a release like this may create confusion.

Doesn't mention digital codes, either. Hmmm...

There's two listings for each steelbook on Best Buy's site. A single disc for each and a 2-disc for each.

These are part of that huge Paramount wave thats coming out. There's a thread for the whole wave, and it seems most people there seem to hate the artwork style.

I don't mind these, but I don't think I'd pay more than $15 each for them. There's a new Tomb Raider movie coming out though, so maybe we'll see a promotional sale like there was for Underworld.

Doubtful. The Jolie films are from Paramount. The new film is from WB and GK Films.

If there's no digital, I'm going to have trouble being able to stomach paying that price for each title.

I hadn't noticed the separate 2-disc listings until you mentioned it (I just clicked in the links in the OP). Maybe the two disc versions will include both regular Blu-Ray and 4K. It seems weird, though, that they would bother having a combo pack with both discs AND 4K-only pack outs.

I wonder if one set of listings is an error.

I already got the double feature blu ray for $5, I'm not anxious to replace them with 4K, especially at that price. With no extra blu-ray or digital, there's no reason for me to buy this.

We're talking about the cropping on the first film. Look at her legs. Plus it looks like she's floating.

You guys are acting like Paramount has not done this before,
Transformers last knight, Ghost in the Shell 4K Steelbooks had the same type of JCard, only saying they were 4k and they were combo packs, so you guys can relax.

I think you are mistaken, I tend to frequent this forum and I can't recall a single person considering their collection an investment. If so they are the outlier.
