Where's the 3D? Or do I have to take my business once again to the UK?

France is releasing about 10 different "editions" of this including one which appears to include the soundtrack on vinyl. They're also releasing regular 4k and 3d editions along with various slipcovers and steelbooks. I suggest looking at them before purchasing anything.

Really shame about no 3D.
![]() ![]() I saw this in theater with 3D. But that theater messed it up and had the image way too dark, and 3D was somehow off too where I had lot of eye strain. I was really looking forward to the home version of 3D since I know 3D at home is always superior to theater (except IMAX, but that's more because of screen size) Definitely not suppporting the US release of this. Really hoping for Korea or HK, China to release this in 3D soon. I'm not going to chance it with UK edition or other countries that's not region A. I was thinking about just getting the 4k version of T2 in US since that wasn't originally released in 3D anyway. But now I'm definitely not supporting the US release of that too. Looks like I'll be importing lot more from now on ![]() |

I can honestly understand why companies may be hesitant about 3D, but I don't understand why they wouldn't at least release a limited edition as there clearly is still SOME 3D market.

This is what I don't understand. The studios constantly claim piracy is decimating their business, but then throw away an entire home market. They have really given us 3D fans the shaft in recent months. No 3D TVs this year, Samsung is dropping 3D support from their upcoming UHD player, and studios continue to release 3D movies in the UK and Europe but not in the US, forcing us to import many 3D titles. All the while they continue to release all the big summer blockbusters in 3D theatrically. The left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing with this business. Baffling.
