Hey guys,
I just wanted to see if you guys could give me some insight or thoughts. I just purchased 4 brand new Bower's and Wilkins 685 S2 and a HTM62 S2 center channel. I live in a condo as of right now and I didn't want to go with the towers until I purchase my home. Now, the reason why I am writing here today is because I feel that they don't sound loud enough. I have a Marantz SR5011. Don't get me wrong the speakers sound amazing and the clarity is crazy, but I don't find them loud enough. Can it be my Marantz that can't drive these speakers enough. I ran the Audessy test and It put my speakers in Full-Band and Large on all of them. Like I said they sound amazing but not loud. I had before these some Polk and I just could not crank them up pass 70DB because they were super loud. My B&W I could crank them to 84 and they still don't sound loud enough. |
