I'm hoping that this the BD will come with a Tomorrowland Pin when its released. I cant see a special edition outside of the steel-book but the pin would be a great addition to my movie shelf.

Great start. Quickly becomes dull and nonsensical. No wow factor, almost everything set in Tomorrowland itself is dreary.

Hmm, the cinemas in Australia here are listing it as 3D so I assumed it was. Maybe their listings online are wrong.

Looks like HMV and Zavvi have both updated to this presumably final artwork. http://s1.thcdn.com/productimg/600/6...0529369305.jpg almost identical to the US release artwork. To be quite honest I prefer this art it shows up more of the visually striking side to the film. Plus it has Athena on the front and she's one of the best characters of the film.

Im definitely a Tomorrowland sympathiser, i think that the problem with its horrific box office numbers is due to the fact that Disney didn't really know how to market the film.

Its a film about a very likeable and "cool" teenage girl, who is a great role model for younger viewers who also has a emotional complex companion in the form of Athena. The films promotional work should have focused on that rather than George Clooney who really doesn't appear until half way through the film.

Its almost like Disney just sat down and said "look we know how to market George Clooney, we don't know how to market this female driven action movie to families." Such a pity.

Still really excited for this though!

Watched it last night, thought it was really good and as you say the visuals were stunning. Crying out for a 3D conversion!

I had a job finding this just now in HMV. I had to ask a member of staff who was very helpful and said that it was in the children's section! lol no wonder i couldn't find it. Such a weird one for them to put in the children's section, just because its Disney.

I'm going to wait a bit and see if it's released anywhere else in the world in 3D, does the UK version come with a slip?

There is no 3D version of this movie.

No Disney don't do slips for their 2D releases (live action).

This may seem an incredibly pedantic question, but that's only because it is: does the title card on the UK Blu-ray say "Tomorrowland" or does it have the longer UK title of "Tomorrowland: A World Beyond". Sad as it sounds, I'd rather import it if needs be to get the correct title (as I did with The Avengers, rather than Avengers Assemble.)
