Figured I'd post this here since I don't think people ever check the 4K Deals forum. It's a mix of BDs and UHDs to choose from with 12 of the options being UHD. A few awful titles but also enough good stuff to be a pretty good deal if you really want three of the available 4K selections.

I snagged Lucy, Apollo 13, and Oblivion. $31 bucks shipped. Hard to pass up a deal like that.

I’ll never understand why people just don’t check other sections of this website.

They probably should have just left the 4K deals in the regular deal forum. The last post in there was 10+ days ago since no one seems to know it's there.

There’s a 4K deal thread...but it’s not in the 4k section? Is that right?

There aren't enough UHD titles in that sale for me to bother. Most don't look appealing to me or I have them already.

It's an absolute tragedy when you already own every single title in that list. Seriously though, this is a rocking deal.

It's a terrible decision to split the UHD deals off from the main hot deals forum when website traffic and participation is down across the board.

I've seen it happen on other media-centric sites as well. It's the same scenario when Blu-ray started taking over DVD in terms of buzz and online participation. The UHD market just isn't big enough to have its own board for deals.

Right. Otherwise I'd post this in the 4K deals thread.

Anyway, I ended up grabbing Split, Dracula Untold, and American Made. Got an extra $2 off switching to ISP.

I agree 100%. I only check the deals forum, hell I didn't even know there was a UHD deals forum yet. Seems way too early to break that off.

It makes sense to separate DVD, because people for the most part on a site like this probably stopped caring about DVD deals in 2008 (particularly "bargain bin" DVD's). Yet, UHD deals are probably at least "of interest" to most people that are looking for blu-ray deals, and I don't think too many people have gone "UHD only"... yet. Not with a total lack of boutique labels having even begun releasing UHD yet...

Guessing there isnt an option to have them delivered to my closest store for the in store pickup discount and it only applies if they are already in stock there? Made it to the shipping part of checkout but havent gone further in case Im missing a step.

Also, I'm new to collecting 4k discs and looking for best picture quality so out of these options are Lucy, Battleship and Dracula Untold going to be the best?

so make sure when they are in your cart that they are set to "ship to you" then click checkout.....on that screen it should pop up
"Switch to Store Pickup – X amount OFF order" and as long as they are in stock at the store you choose you should get the discount off each one (cept the 3rd one since it's "free")

and I can't speak to the 3 movies.

I myself am debating grabbing Lone Survivor, American Made, and Split since I don't have those on any format right now.

It is a good deal but the selection is pitiful. I guess they need to get rid of the stock.

I was thinking the same thing. These deals they've been advertising aren't really that good of deals if they don't have anything worth buying to choose from. Especially, when you have to find 3 movies to put in the cart to get the deal. I could only find one, Apollo 13, and it's usually that price regularly anyway so what deal would be I getting?

Just in case you are not sure of the deal, but when you add 3 eligible titles then one becomes free. For $35 (or less), 3 titles comes to $11.67 per title (or less).

As you mention though, it's all assuming you can find 3 eligible titles. Do I really (really) want the 3 I'm looking at... Not necessarily, but it's a pretty good deal.
