I never thought it was going to get a BLU release.

I just figured KINO, Twilight Time and other labels just couldn't get the film. As if rights issues or someone was holding the release back.

The fact Olive was able to get it has me worried. I'd assume it will be a dated HD master. and no extras.

Which is sad cause it would be nice to have seen interviews with Ricci, Ryder and possible Cher.

Please use the theatrical poster artwork.

It would be cool if this was a Signature Series release?

It's on Amazon Prime right now for those who have not seen it. I saw it back in the day in the theaters and liked it then...but it's taking me a week to get through it via the Prime stream as I find it a bit average for a coming of age story.

Not my first choice of labels because I'd love some extras, but I'll take it.

At the very least, I'd love the music video for Cher's "The Shoop Shoop Song".

Yeah, this movie deserved a Collector's Edition for sure, but better than nothing.

So close to having all the essential Winona movies on blu. Just need Girl, Interrupted and Roxy Carmichael and I’ll be satisfied.

I don't know what it is about this movie, but the last two times I've seen it I had pretty trashy Chinese takeout. I guess I know what I'll be doing when this comes out!

They license the same way anyone else does from MGM so it's doubtful it would look any different if Twilight Time had it. If the scan is decent it should be fine. As long as it's not The Hallelujah Trail of course...which was MGM's fault, but Olive should've had the good sense not to release that.

Olive Films has done some pretty bad covers recently but thankfully they did this one right!

Could do without the waves but i’ll take it. Much better than the two DVD covers.

True could be worse, i prefer the poster font and the waves arent needed.

But i need this BLU. i vaguely recall when the movie opened Cher, Winona and maybe even Ricci were on Oprah to promote the film.
