A good sign that they're open to releasing from their back catalog of horror films. Personally, I would have liked to see something else released before this one, though more Abel Ferrara on Blu-ray is always welcomed.

It's not as good as the two feature films, but still decent. I'd buy it for the right price.

Always thought this was underrated - having it set on an army base,where stoic conformity is the norm,was an especially clever touch.

Body Snatchers (1993) is an awesome movie, and it's one of the few true horror films of what, in my opinion, was an disappointing decade for horror cinema.

Now, it's not in the same league as the first two Invasion of the Body Snatchers adaptations, but, then again, few films are. It's still a surprisingly effective update of the Jack Finney story, though, and it makes just the right tweaks to the concept.

There are some scenes in this film that are really nightmarish.

Throw in a great cast, including Forest Whitaker and R. Lee Ermey, and you're set.

Plus, to bring this down to the lowest denominator, Gabrielle Anwar was a shining star of beauty during the early 1990s.

I'm all over this release.

very good film, well worth seeing and buying.

As previously posted, it's not up to the level of the 2 previous versions but it's far superior to INVASION, the Nicole Kidman misfire...

Yeah,I'm hoping that's a misprint, too.I have the old dvd and it's in the correct anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio.

They updated the post. It was a mistake.

Excellent, I believe the DVD and laserdisc were pan & scan, so this is a day one.

Actually, they were both 2.35:1 widescreen.
