Default Trading games on Playstation Network?

(I searched "trading playstation network" on the forums and got no results, so please forgive this new thread if this has already been discussed.)

I saw a few posts on GameSpot about people trading games they had bought on PSN. Specifically, someone trading Pain for High Velocity Bowling. Is this possible? If so, how is it done?

Or was this someone's joke?

You give the other person your sign-in details, which is against the terms and conditions of the PSN and allows them to buy stuff with your card if attached.

It is pretty cool how it works. You get 5 downloads of anything you buy off of the PSN, thats how the DRM works. So basically, you get with some buddys you trust, and buy all the games you guys want with 1 account, split the bill 5 ways, and you all get the games for 1/5th the price. I would be interested in doing this if people here wanted, i would like to get tekken, puzzle fighter, bowling and a lot more.

Hmmm... I think that's a "hell no" for me. Thanks for the details, Shin-ra.

I'm also kinda interested... there are one or two things on the US store I am unable to buy in the UK... again there a couple of PS1 games on the JP store too... the UK store is kinda crap really... a load of the PS1 games have vanished and although blast factor tells me an update is available I can't actually get find it in the UK store.

You can let people download your downloads (except Warhawk which locks itself to your account (nb: theoretically your friends could download it and play it signed in as you, but then you must wait 24 hours after they played before you can play on your own console)) and if there is money in your wallet they can buy stuff... thinking about it they can just as easily add funds from your bank account too. Its very risky, hence I only share my account with local friends and do not store the password, therefore if they want something I have to go round to their to enter my password. Me and my brother are always downloading each others Motorstorm add ons... I mean no we don't... wait, I don't even have friends so I'm perfectly sticking to those terms no-one ever reads.
