Hopefully it'll be closer in quality to the earlier seasons than the latter ones, but any Community is good Community.

Given Yvette Nicole Brown seems willing to cameo in just about anything these days, I'd expect an announcement of her involvement soon.

Not expecting much involvement from Chase other than a cameo at best, but it'd be cool if Glover gave something back to the show that essentially gave him an acting career.

I assume Pierce will play an important posthumous role in the story, much like they did with the episode regarding his will. I'm not to worried about the others signing on, I don't think there would be much interest on the creative team's part without them.

Yvette Nicole Brown has re-tweeted the announcements. It may be down to working around her schedule.

This was my favorite show on TV... and then there was the one-two punch of

[Show spoiler]Chevy Chase and Donald Glover leaving the cast.

After that, the show wasn't nearly as fun (the "G.I. Jeff" episode being an exception). The final season was just plain sad.

The series certainly struggled after

And it didn't just lose some of it's fun due to the aforementioned departures; it was sort of suffocating the fun out of it by delaying the entire cast of character's inevitable departure from Greendale for too long, to the point of stunting some character's growth, IMO. They all had to move on eventually and become something outside of college, maybe except for Jeff, and there really wasn't going to be a pleasant way of doing it. I remembered feeling increasingly sad and depressed as the series went on. I was already emotionally invested, so I just rode it out and kept hoping to see a return to the good ol' days but that obviously never happened. But I suppose there's hope for the movie to redeem itself in the eyes of some fans who felt let down by the final season.
