Code Black Action Multipacks featuring Previously Unreleased to Blu films - Blu-ray Forum

Thanks to DouglasRobert for first reporting this and Castiel23 for the image.

Walmarts have started carrying Blu-ray sets promoting John Wick 3. The sets feature 3-6 movies spread out across a few discs, plus digital copies and a $8 Movie Ticket offer for John Wick 3. They strip away extras from individual releases but some of the sets feature films which have not yet received a Blu-ray release in the US.

Bolded titles are new to Blu.

Bruce Willis set also contains Set Up and Hostage.

Jackie Chan also contains Skiptrace.

Samuel L. Jackson set contains Kite.

My Crank 2 blu won't play on any of my blu ray players. I get a little box of image on the screen. I bought the damn thing twice and then found out it was because of BD Live or some bull**** like that. I have plenty of BD live discs that play with no problem. I will be picking that up as well as the Nic Cage set so I can upgrade my Deadfall Dvd. Thanks OP !!

There must be a way for your player to disable BD Live, no?

I'm sure there is, I'm just afraid to mess with it because its a region free player that pretty much plays anything I put in it except for Crank 2, which is really strange....

I don't think disabling BD Live would mess with that though. If anything, you could always re-enable it after.

See if you can find an instruction manual for your model (it's probably online somewhere if you lost the paper version).

Picked up the Arnold and Cage ones. Probably go back and get the Keanu set. Didn't realize hot chick from Bladerunner was in 2 of those movies.

While I havent seen Exposed I quite enjoyed her role in Knock Knock

To play the Crank 2 blu-ray, you need to plug a usb flash drive into the player. I read this years ago and it works.

Yep the flash drive trick works, I was upset when I first got mine cause I never seen the Crank movies but read it on here.

Picked up the Arnie pack, even though I already own everything in it (except for Hercules in New York, of course). It is IW, as reported. Worth it to me for Herc and digital copies.

Had Nic Cage in my hand but put it back. Again, I own most of the movies already - except for Deadfall. How is that? I'd be buying it strictly for that, but the reviews are atrocious.

Almost got Dolph Lundgren for the Steve Austin flick, which I don't think I have, but the other movies either didn't look appealing or I have them already. Plus, it's not IW, which feels like a mistake and something that will later be corrected, but early adopters will be SOL. Just a guess though.

The Sci-Fi pack is surprisingly random and disappointing, and it repeats one of the movies from the Arnie pack.

Edit: I'm kinda surprised everyone is sleeping on Samuel L. Jackson. Are all of those movies terrible or something? (They certainly didn't catch my eye.)

BTW, I had to laugh at the guy either in this thread or the other one who said these were gonna fly off the shelves. In what world?

Three copies of each at my store, and I doubt that's going to change too much. Walmart never sells out of anything - they just pull stock after a while.
