Hi there, I would like to report an issue regarding the Xbox One X Blu Ray App not able to play Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 4k blu ray disc. First of all the disc is brand new, no damage whatsoever, my console is on the latest firmware update and the optical drive is working perfectly. I've tried all my other 4k discs including at least 10 different movie titles and all worked fine. But with GotG 2 in particular, the disc just won't load past the initial blue screen that has Blu-Ray symbol on it. Have tried eject, insert numerous times, including reinstalling the Blu Ray app and restarting the console all to no effect.
The disc is the Australian version purchased at JB Hi Fi, I've also tried a second new disc from the same store and result is still the same. The disc actually played on my Xbox One S (no longer with me) before the latest system firmware update so I'm thinking it could be an issue with the latest firmware? Has anyone run into this issue on their One X? Could anyone please share any advice? Thanks! |
