This is the only way to get the 4k of the animated classic outside of the Disney Movie Club, correct?

It looks like they are putting the old blu-ray in the steelbook without the new transfer included on the club exclusive.

I assume there will be a standard release also. The only difference from the Disney Movie Club release is that there will be no DVD.

This is what I feared when a 4k steelbook was announced a while ago. I may just order the 4k from dmc and stocl the 4k disc in the bluray steelbook.

This looks exactly like those stupid star wars steelbooks. I generally am not as critical as others when it comes to steelbook designs, but this looks bad with a capital b

Yeah, I would much rather have the nice slip from DMC! I’m not a member though so will have to settle for this piece of crap.

It's better than the Star Wars ones. Not bad, but not good. Kind of plain.

I really dislike these Disney 100 steel books. Guess I’ll just be swapping the 4K disc into the previous Blu-ray steelboook

Ugh. Just horrible, as in zero artistic effort expended on the exterior.
And they only deboss the Disney 100 logo, not the movie title.

Interior is nice, but overall this is 1/2 out 10, imo.

I have the 2012 release, with the super nice embossed slipcover, and the 2019 steelbook.
Guessing I’ll pick this up and put the 4K disc in the 2019 steel.

I own some Disney stock, maybe I’ll mail this steel shell abomination to IGER with a note of displeasure.

Yeah..I finally saw these in person at Best Buy. I thought the title would be debossed. They sure are a freaking afterthought.

It really doesn't though. I mean, I'll give you points for trying to come up with a new reason to hate the Disney 100 steelbooks. You don't have to come up with a new reason though. Just hate them like everyone else.

I'll give them credit for one thing: they corrected her colors to more or less match the new 4K master (compare it to the disc art version).

That said, it does seem like she's trapped inside. Cue her, "Let me out! You must let me out! You can't keep me in here!" lines.
