Plot: German artist Kurt Barnert has escaped East Germany and now lives in West Germany, but is tormented by his childhood under the Nazis and the GDR-regime.

Oscar-winner Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (The Lives of Others, The Tourist) wrote and directed it.

Wow, I've been waiting soooo long for his follow-up to The Tourist! Just kidding.

Will keep an eye out for this. If it's anywhere near as good as The Lives of Others, we're in for a treat.

Looking forward to it. Lives of Others is a great film. Never saw The Tourist because folks kept telling me that life is too short to see that film. lol

I found out that my local theater is not getting this until the Friday after the Oscars. Does anyone know of any legal ways to see this before that or have a line on which theaters are getting it before the Oscars?
