Just downloaded this game yesterday and so far it's quite good. Never played any others in the series.

After playing this game for awhile I think I have now been turned off of platformers. I suck at them.

This is why I hate buying digital because I cannot recoup any of the cost.

I had played one of them on the 3DS, no idea what it was called. I'm really enjoying this. Looks beautiful too

For the physical "Ultimate Edition", all the DLC quests and costumes are included, along with exclusives such as Kickstarter credits and a gallery of fan artwork.

For people who already downloaded the digital version, if you buy the physical release, your save will not be ported over to the gamecard file, though on a positive note all the DLC will be downloaded to your original file so you can continue playing your old save with the added content.

The only downside is that the bonus artwork and achievements for them are only available on the "Ultimate" version of the game.

EDIT: actually it doesn’t update your previous version with DLC. If you want to play the DLC, you need the physical gamecard.
