Sega announced during a livestream event on Saturday that it is developing a Hokuto ga Gotoku crossover game between the Fist of the North Star and the Yakuza franchises. The game will ship for the PlayStation 4 in 2018.

The game takes place in the world of Fist of the North Star, and will feature a completely original story. The game will feature familiar characters from Fist of the North Star, and will also feature original characters that original manga artist Tetsuo Hara is designing for the game.

Takuya Kuroda, who plays Kazuma Kiryū in the Yakuza games, will voice Kenshirō in the action adventure game.

I'm not a Fist of the North Star fan, but I played the demo for this game a few months ago and thought it was pretty fun. Mixing Fist of the North Star with Yakuza gameplay is probably the best thing to ever happen for this series because it just fits so well. Looking forward to playing the full game!
