Thanks for the heads up! I always see Coolduder talking about Vinegar Syndrome on his youtube channel. I don't think I've ever seen there films in a store before to be honest but some look interesting.

Just looking at the site, they have some crazy-ass B-list horror movies. Some of these bring back memories of my days going in the VHS horror section of Jumbo Video.

I placed an order Friday morning. Only started buying their titles this year, mainly as could never find them in store, but really like that the obvious care and love they put into movies that not many seem to love.

Recommend checking this line out, especially if you love obscure cult/exploitation/erotica

Thanks for the heads up! Any recommendations that are worthwhile? Also, the porn - is it soft or hardcore? I'm not interested in purchasing it (but wouldn't be ashamed to admit if I was), but just curious. I didn't notice any familiar names.

It's mostly hardcore from the 70's & 80's.

They release both soft and hardcore erotica. The hardcore material would be from the golden age of porn (70’s through mid 80’s), where adult films were shot on film, with stories and film crews, and distributed through adult theatres. My first Vinegar Syndrome title was one of these: Matinee Idol. Bought for two reasons. One, nostalgia....it was the first hardcore title I saw (way back when hardcore films were first allowed in Saskatchewan) and Two, I always considered Angel to be one of the sexiest porn stars of all time. My order this time is a nice mix of material. Two classic slashers (Madman and Graduation Day), two so bad they’re awesome exploitation films (Nightmare Weekend and Raw Force), and two hardcore (Corruption....dark gritty adult cop drama, with a rare exploitation film, Last House on Dead End Street, as a bonus feature!)...and on DVD one of their Storefront Theater collections (a dozen 70’s hardcore oddball films). You should peruse thier catalog, they have a lot of cool titles.

I bought The Undertaker, Nightmare Weekend, and Witchtrap on a sale through Family Video about 6 months ago. Nightmare Weekend is really screwed up, but I keep on watching it. Watching the supplements, its amazing the movie was ever made.

the sale was good but the titles i wanted i saw elswhere at a similar price even if it wasnt on sale. But still good stuff. Ill probably buy at the Black Friday sale. My favorite hardcore proably Sex World, one of the first i ever rented on VHS, and the best! Anything with Lisa Deleuw, Kay parker, Hypathia Lee, and the greatest ass in porn period Nina Hartley(and still working in the biz, god bless her).

Got pick up Disco Godfather, Sweet Sugar, and more porn at the next sale. For all those looking Buy the video catalog they offer for a few bucks i found it on ebay with hundreds of great trailers and a nice booklet which is great by itself

Never heard of MATINEE IDOL. I'll have to check that out.

The classic I remember was TABOO.

I particularly like a lot of the more obscure titles. A lot of them I remember seeing posters for as a kid, but I was too young to watch. I always wondered what some were about!

Don't suppose they offer any of the male exploitation kind do they? Or is it all mostly geared towards straight men?

Outside of a few DVD releases, not much. There was a recent discussion in the main thread, but they stated that the lack was mainly due to poor source materials for many such films, when questions were raised.
