I was one of the few who actually quite liked the previous artwork and normally am not a fan of the 'pop art' look but in this case (no pun intended) I agree that this one is much better.
Not only that but when I got the previous steelbook I wasn't 4K capable so got the HMV steel (same artwork but just the Blu-ray) so have already ordered this new 4K steelbook for my collection and hope to get a reasonable amount of money by selling my present Blu-ray steelbook on ebay as it's still sealed...

this steel is never going to get you a reasonable amount of money back but there again it depends what you call reasonable.

one thing to remember there are lots available on the bay which is never a good thing it does drive prices down.

Though quite a few got £15-£17 free postage and I see two that sold at £18 + £2 postage so I'm keeping fingers crossed; on the other hand, yes, the bay might get a flood as people upgrade to this one so I am keeping expectations low and hoping just to maybe knock 50% or a bit more off the price of this new 4K one... which annoyingly is an $18 release in the US as a Best Buy exclusive!

Has anyone received their copy from Zavvi?

Its been a couple of days and no movement and I not seen anyone post pictures so has Zavvi taken more orders then it could Fulfill or just not gotten any stock to send out.

Have to say I am not a massive fan of this design or the original from last year. Decided to plump for the Amaray version.

I talked on their online chat to them (yes, it was working!) and they've had a delay in receiving stock and are working on it... I pointed out it would be nice in such circumstances if they let people who'd ordered it of the situation so they knew it wasn't a problem with their specific order and was being sorted.

The person I was 'chatting' to totally agreed and understood Zavvi Customer Service really didn't have a good reputation and something simple like this would be a good idea; they will pass it on (whether or not it'll be listened to is something else).

The same thing happened with their recent exclusive Hellboy 2 steelbook and it was just a matter of waiting for their suppliers... hopefully this one will be going out soon as the last time the delay was only a few days, but still annoying...

I did suspect as much. In the past I had a delay on a steel book that shipped after the release date but like the Tuesday after. But Zavvi is useless when it comes to informing their customers what's going on with their orders.

Significantly cheaper too. See this is what confuses me about steelbooks. Zavvi and HMV say a steelbook is exclusive and then Best Buy releases the exact same steelbook.

It’s exclusive to their location. Best Buy is the US exclusive.

Exactly; HMV and Zavvi exclusives are UK exclusives; you can often find the same steelbooks as exclusives to other European countries.

This is of course why some steelbooks don't have the title printed on the cover (but on the paprer/card slip instead) or on the spine (either leaving it blank or using images like the Avengers have done)... because it means they only have to press one steelbook for vatrious markets that use different languages so save money via economies of scale.
