I own the original TV series on US DVD and I'm loving it.
![]() Does anyone know if/when New Cutie Honey, Cutie Honey Flash and Re: Cutie Honey will be released on Blu-ray in the US or any other western country for that matter? I know the OVAs and Flash have been released on Blu-ray in Japan but no English subtitles ofcourse. I think Re: Cutie Honey has only been released on DVD? Thanks. |

I would kill for Cutie Honey Flash to make it's way to the west so it finally has an English release in some capacity. @Discotek get on that and BDs for New/RE:
For what it's worth, the 2004 Live Action film has an English subbed Blu-ray release in the form of a JP Hideaki Anno film boxset, although I haven't picked up a copy yet because I can't find any decent indication of the PQ (as it was pretty low budget and from the early 2000s). Although I'm not sure what the general consensus is on that film in the fanbase (personally I love it to death but it's also something I used to watch with my best friend so there's some bias). |

Discotek released the original 1970s series on DVD in America a few years ago. But your guess on when there will be any Blu-ray in America is as good as anyone else's guess.
