If anyone picks this up can you leave a heads up on region free or not. I have a feeling it will be released in the US closer to Halloween but you never know.

I have the German version of this blu ray and according to another person on this website it is Region B locked.

Picked it up today and checked it for you on a region switchable player and it is unfortunately Region B only - no playback when set to Region A. Sorry

I have a region free player but usually like waiting to see if a US release happens first. Think I'll hang on closer to Halloween and see what happens. If not out for that then I doubt were getting one.

It has "English subtitles for Hearing Impaired" so basically from the part I sampled you get subtitles with a few added bits of info like if the character is yelling or characters are singing it highlights that (never having used the subtitles I'm not sure if that's common with subtitle streams)
FYI there are zero special features and video wise horrible banding during the brief moments I watched so you may want to wait and see if a better version comes out.
