I would appreciate some clarification on processes.
I've been uploading scans of titles where they're missing, and with steelbooks and digibooks I generally upload four: the front and back of the book itself, and the front and back of the book with the slip (often a j-card or a back cover with a cardboard ring that goes round the front of the book) in place. Seems logical to do that, since often the info on the slip and the book differ; in Australia and the UK the ratings logos are on the slip but there's almost always a question voiced by potential buyers of whether the logos are on the books themselves; and the artwork on the book is almost always differnt from either the slip or the amaray release. The pictures answer a lot of people's questions straight off. Besides, there are four spaces, specifically for front and rear of the case, and front and rear of the slip. So why is it that, every time I upload these images, the back and front of the book are deleted, and the front of the slip is moved to the position of the front of the case, leaving only it and the back of the slip? If the front of the amaray and front of the slip for amaray releases are both stored when they are essentially identical, why not the front of both the steelbook or digibook and the slipcase, when they give different information? And why is the back of the book deleted altogether? Just trying to understand the why and the what of the process, so I don't waste either my time or that of the Mod who then deletes the scans I've spent time making and uploading. |
