William Gibson's 'Alien 3'

This is only slightly movie-related but I thought it was interesting.

Back in the 1980s, sci-fi author William Gibson (he wrote Neuromancer, etc) did a movie treatment/script for Alien 3. It was never produced. But now it is being adapted as a comic-book.

It comes out on November 7th, but you can see a half dozen pages at the LINK

I dunno much about Gibson's script, but Vincent Ward's version is one of the most interesting unmade films ever.

I've never really had any problems enjoying the version of Alien 3 we got, but it's always interesting to check out alternative versions that we might have got.

Imagine if Vincent Ward had completed his version.. that would have been insane... in a cool sort of way.
