Upon looking at various scenes, the PQ is pretty average. Print damage appears every so often. There isn't alot of fine detail, and some scene look like DVD upscale. I shy away from saying it is flat out a DVD upscale as there were some scenes that had a fair amount of detail. Overall, 2.5-3.0 PQ. Sound quality was acceptable.

*Note-the version sold through HK venders is the Taiwan version. There is no HK version.

I agree with what you said about the video quality and the sound. Nothing special, but it's acceptable.

The movie itself was great. I was surprised with how much I liked it. Very charming.

Kind of late here but I was satisfied with the picture and sound, could have been a lot worse but I agree with Sagacious in that it was a really good film, didn't really know what to expect but i'm pleased I got it.

I hate these kind of movies but loved this one, every time it was on the edge of getting cheesy it pulled back into a solidly dramatic touching scene.
