Gatchaman II - TC Entertainment 9/28

TC Entertainment is set to bring out the Gatchaman II complete collection on Blu-ray for the first time later this year as they’ve set a September 28th, 2018 debut for it. The Blu-ray release is priced at 28,000 yen and will have the full fifty-two episode run that clocks in at 1300 minutes. It’ll feature the original Japanese language spread across two discs working from a new high definition negative. A booklet is included as well as a promo and the clean opening and closing sequences.

I know the dvds of the complete seried put out here werent that good but over $250 for the blus seem high

TWO discs? For a 52 episode series, usually the Japanese release would be eight discs.

I'm just about to finish Gatchaman F on DVD, with only 4 episodes to go.

Guess it was only a matter of time before II (and eventually F) would be coming to Blu-ray. I'm hoping for a Western Blu-ray release asap!

Two discs has to be a mistake. I can't imagine that they're cramming 52 episodes that are supposedly remastered in HD from the original negatives.

The funny thing is, TC Entertainment is saying that it's "reasonably priced".
