I really wish they'd hold the cameras more still when they're not representing anyone's POV...it just looks so utterly fake. Love this show, hate the constant bobbing around.

Ive had this for the last few weeks! I let mum and dad watch it first but Ill be watching it later this week/next week.

Its strange how the UK always gets this way ahead of the US (for a change!).

I have to pre-order them now to make sure I get all the slipcovers. Its pathetic I know but the OCD is strong with this one.

I have a doubt about the release of Homeland - Season 6, on September 6th. First of all, the 6th is a Wednesday, and the release are normally on Tuesday. Secondly, no official announcement was made on this release. I think of a release of season 6 in DVD and Blu-Ray, closer to the broadcast of season 7.

I would be fine with that. September is an expensive month for me.

Wow. Season 6 might be the best yet. PQ and AQ were both excellent as per season 5. Only slight letdown was the meagre extras but there we go.

Ah yes I just finished the Aus Blu-ray, and IMHO, the series has jumped the shark and entered 24 territory, where I find it hard to get any enjoyment out of it as it is just nonstop utterly disgusting traitors at every level of the US government. I used to laugh when people would slam 24 for being anti middle east. If anything 24 made them look misguided but honorable. The Americans on the other hand, too too many corrupt traitors at every level up to the President. Homeland has now entered that domain. I bet Rupert Friend begged for his outcome so he wouldn't be tainted.

S4 and 5 were brilliant though.

I think the truth is stranger than the fiction as far as the US government and Homeland go right now!

I just noticed that Amazon doesn't have the September 6th release date listed anymore. Only has the "This title has not yet been released" tag on it. They're probably pushing it back to around January again like last year to be closer to when season 7 starts.

As long as it comes out, I don't care when.

Just finished the first five seasons for the first time after picking them all up super cheap on Blu. Sorta bummed that this didn't end up coming out so I could jump right back in, but it'll probably come out in January like season 5 did this year, like I said above. The wait's gonna suck, but no worries.

Typically it's been January here so I don't expect that to change with S6.

24 rules.

I would expect this to be released in December or January now that they have started premiering the series in January rather than September/October like they used to. However, Showtime hasn't even announced a premiere date yet so I wonder if it will be even later than January this time.

We got a trailer and premiere date for season 7, so I have to imagine the Blu-ray release date for season 6 isn't much further behind.

Price also just dropped down to $34.99 on Amazon, so does that mean an announcement is imminent?

Yes I expect so. This will make it out well before the merger, thank goodness. And if for some reason the release gets cancelled, at least the UK edition exists. For season 5 the US got one additional bonus feature added to make up for the huge disparity in the release dates between the US and UK.

Weird that there still hasn't been an official press release. The release date also isn't up on the U.S. Amazon.
