So looks like new series similar to Vixen animated series, dunno if this means no Vixen Pt. 3.

Also no talk about episode length if they are as short as they were for Vixen I am probably just going to wait till the whole thing is out. Hopefully 10-11 min episode length.

I have to say I approve of Russell Tovey playing The Ray. I enjoyed him in Being Human, I also saw him on a comedy and he was great, just don't remember what it was called

According to EW, this might not air until after the annual crossover. Personally I'd rather see this before the crossover, I'd assume this would be something to watch leading up to the crossover

Yeah kind of weird to have it air after, since it's supposed to be his origins or at least prior to the crossover and would be nice to be introduced to the character first... but I guess Vixen aired s2 after her Arrow crossover even though it took place before so it's not exactly new for them to do it.

Wow so I legit forgot this was out this week.

Two things, one they released 6 episodes at once, and two they are 6 minutes a piece. On one hand sad about short episode length on other curious if they will release it all in 3 weeks with 6 episode chunks.

It was fine, but being a prequel kind of kept making me confused. In the show we see the Earth-X version first, then we get the Earth-1 version that appears in the crossover... but once I got it all straightened out in my head it was alright. Seems like the writer on TVSoD didn't watch it or had the same confusion as I did or maybe just didn't realize it was a prequel to the Crisis on Earth-X crossover because they say it doesn't preserve the continuity lol

Vixen was better though.

Hopefully they will bundle that with a ticket for Aquaman, I might get it then otherwise pass till its like sub $10 I didn't care much for first half.

Finally watched the second season courtesy of the movie release... it was fine, but I wish it had actually tied into the Arrowverse because that's why I started watching it in the first place and probably wouldn't have bought it had I known. I guess that's why it just says "DC Animated Movie" on the cover, to try and distance it from the Arrowverse.

If they want to keep doing CW Seed stuff they need to give the Arrowverse an official name at some point and label them as it in some way, and if it's not connected to the Arrowverse they need to STOP USING THE ARROWVERSE ACTORS because Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and Echo Kellum voice their characters. I guess maybe they intended to have it exist in the same universe, but season 2 was already done before the crossover apparently so it had a whole different introduction to the Arrowverse than what actually happened on the Earth X crossover.
