SYNOPSIS

It was confirmed to come out internationally in the international thread and also by https://www.discshop.se/filmer/blura...lu_ray/P174330 for this thread which seems to be an international version as well. The site isn't even in English. Let's create a few more threads as the more the merrier. This has become a trend lately, but again the Mods will have to merge stuff in all their free time.

There's no link to https://www.discshop.se/filmer/blura...lu_ray/P174330 in the international thread. That thread even says "Maybe FNAC exclusive" in the OP.

The info in the OP of this thread here is the first confirmation of it being released internationally (including US based on past track record of Sony releases available on the Nordic market). And due to this, it sure deserves a thread in this forum section.

We should be happy it's finally confirmed as an international release.

Well as I wrote in the OP, the DiscShop link confirms this 4K BD as a Sony release on the Nordic market, and so far all 4K BD Sony releases on the Nordic market have also been released globally/internationally (including in the US). Hence I think based on that new info in the OP we now have sufficient info to warrant a thread in this regular forum section.

As for the French market, they sometimes have local indie releases only released in France (and sometimes even exclusive to specific stores). The OP in the corresponding thread in the International forum section says "Maybe FNAC exclusive" indicating that could be the case. The link it contains also does not even specify who will release it (e.g. Sony, or some local indie company). So in essence I don't think it confirmed that it would be a global release (including the US). Therefore I think that thread is more suitable in the International 4K UHD forum section.

At least this is my understanding regarding what type of threads should go in what forum section, based on where I've seen other similar threads being placed. But if there is some other commonly accepted forum policy regarding this, please feel free to clarify and merge the threads or whatever if suitable.

Just checked the French page again and it shows the studio as SPHE. SPHE: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment sounded good enough to me. Guess both links could have been in the same thread. Won't import from either, so last post in here.

Don't worry, you will not have to import if you don't want to. As mentioned now it's a just a matter of time until we'll get info about the corresponding US release as well, and then I'll update the OP accordingly. The US is just a little late to the party this time.
