I've always thought this is Buttgereit's best film.

I wonder what the "collectible new Blu-Ray artwork" will be, as the cover shown here is the exact same art used on the early 90's VHS release from Film Threat, as well as the later DVD from Barrel.

And as with the Cult Epics Nekromantik releases, it looks like not all the extras (eg: short films) from the Barrel releases are being carried over, so will need to keep those DVD's as well.

I watched a trailer for this after watching Nekromantik 2 and it looked better than that (which I pretty much hated). I'm glad it's getting a Blu-ray release. I'll blind buy it if Cult Epics does a better job than they did with Angst...

Ive always felt the same about Schramm. This & Nekromantik are my top 2 Buttgereit films.

Definitely getting this Day 1. Still have the previous DVD release of the film by Cult Epics.

I wonder if Arrow UK has plans to release this and Der Todesking in the future??

Cult Epics released both Nekromantik films and then Arrow UK released them as well via those kick ass limited edition boxed sets. So I just don't wanna grab this or Der Todesking and then find out that Arrow UK will be releasing a superior edition a few months later from now.

I see this is out of stock at Amazon and importcds. But this one isn't a ltd ed, right? I'm wondering if I can just place my order with importcds and wait for a restock.
And yeah, if I knew it was coming I could wait for Arrow to do with lossless audio and maybe a CD, but they still haven't done Todesking even. That CEpics box set would be nice to get the CDs, but I already bought the first 3

, plus a double dip for Arrow's ltd Nekromantic.
