![]() ![]() Written & Directed by: Tilman Singer Cast: Luana Velis, Jan Bluthardt, Julia Riedler ![]() ![]() ![]() I figured this little movie could be a treat for some here. The pacing is slow - don't get fooled by the cleverly edited trailer. Luz lives from its grainy visuals and its well crafted sound design. Besides it's more of an cerebral experience as almost nothing regarding the plot is articulated. At times it reminded me of a Peter Strickland movie and his "retro" visuals. The icing on the cake is a weird scene in which past events are being reenacted under hypnosis. 7,5/10 Also recommended for everyone who has a soft spot for girls wearing their baseball cap backwards ![]() P.S.: The German Blu-ray by Bildstörung is not English-friendly. |
