One immediately thinks 'well if the faces look that good close up, the rest must look amazing from normal viewing distance' but I'm going to reserve judgment until we see a little more.

What's here is certainly a 'notch' or two above Nariko's face model.

not quite sure if i would say the uncanny valley has been crossed...i think that they are close to finishing the bridge though..

I'm with Shin-Ra...judgment will be reserved for when I see some gameplay visuals in full motion, real-time rendered.

This is definitely a good starting-point though.
