I just heard on the radio that Chinese Democracy CD will be out on November 25th. Wow, talk about finally!

Anyone confirm this?

Oh, the Guns N Roses album. I though you meant the Chinese were going to declare a democracy on the 25th.

I have not bought it yet but now think I will. I think they played a lot of these songs last year when I saw them in concert.

Between the new AC-DC disc, the Metallica one, and this I'm pretty happy with some of my old favorites putting out good, new material. I checked out the recent Motley Crue CD and find it ok but nothing great. I'm finally going to see the Crue for the 1st time ever in the spring so i'm looking forward to that.

I'm going to BB to pickup left 4 dead tomorrow, I'll pick this up as well. From the songs I've heard on the radio, it sounds good and I dig the song Better.

the cure's new album is their best since wish. a lot of the older classic bands have the best albums of their careers. or at dang near close to it.

Can't get the song 'Sorry' out of my head off the new GnR... amazing song.

Also, 'There Was a Time' is the Estranged of 2008!

Yeah apparently it's true and it will be exclusive through Best Buy which to me MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL!!!

Read it a few times now on various entertainment sites.

Best Buy is like an hour away from me! WTF?!?!??!

says the date is this year and being worked on but many othe sites have said the 25th.

So we shall see...............

PS saw them live on Nov 21, 2006 i think it was and rumors were swirling at the time that the cd was coming out that next day lol... never happened!!! Then they said March 2007... never happened...

really? Didn't hear it was a BB exclusive. I've got one in town and I'll probably pick this one up. The station used to play that single they released, thought it was alright, the hype alone has me intrigued.

I took in the GNR tour last summer and thought they were pretty good. Some of the songs I have heard off the "new" album are pretty good.

Not sure if I'll buy it but it's interesting to see it maybe finally come out.

Yep agreed, new songs are very good, from what I have heard so far. Easy to tell that Axl was the brains in the band all along as anything Slash has done since really was never that great... esp his Snake Pit stuff that is very crappy compared to GnR.

What ? Velvet Revolver kicks the new Guns arse ! The first LP especially is a classic, "Spectacle" Oh yeah, and now hopefully they will find a better singer than the junkie... why not... AXL ?
