I figured this would be a good place to ask this question, as everyone is interested in bluray. I run Mac OS on the newest revision of the 24" iMac (Core2 Duo, not extreme). I would like to be able to get digital versions of high definition films for the use of maintaining a digital library to mirror my physical library, although I see very little use in ripping them at iPhone quality or even at 480p.
So alas, I beg the users here to give me any advice, tips, or software solutions that have helped you digitize your bluray discs in the past. Also I'm a brand new adopter (finally decided to start making the switch - cause i think the war is almost over), so if anyone has tips on good deals, or old threads that are a must read for a newb, I would appreciate any advice that will help. Also one last thing - do they make 1080p TVs that have a 21:9 aspect ratio? Thanks, trey |
