Very interesting pick, when they've got so many announced titles that still haven't come out yet.

The design is by the same team (Propaganda) who did Wrestler, ISTD, the calligraphy for Melancholia, Rust and Bone, etc

Personally, I like the simplicity. The slips always look great in hand.

I'll pass. The Hommage Collection had enough of his work for me.
I still haven't seen a film of his that was either memorable or that I'd ever want to watch again.

I had to pick this up.

I've seen this on numerous top 10 end of year lists, and I saw the Handmaiden last night and fell in love with both female leads, looked it up, and the actress that plays Lady Hideko is also in this film! That alone was enough for me to pull the trigger.

Yeah, seeing it on year-end lists has me intrigued since I hadn't even heard of it before Plain announced the preorder (unlike other Korean films such as The Handmaiden and Age of Shadows which got buzz throughout the year).
