Plex Arcade is a new streaming add on for Plex users, subscriptions are $2.99/ mo for Plex Pass and $4.99 for general users. In addition to a few dozen included Atari games, you can BYO 8/16 bit ROMs for Nintendo and Sega platforms (minus Sega-CD).
I’m not really in the market to stream retro games from a Plex Media Server, my PMS runs on a *nix -based NAS so I can’t even use it. I guess there’s a subscription for nearly everything these days. Anybody thinking of testing it out? I’d be interested in feedback as to how well it performs, especially outside the LAN. Last edited by heyadol; 02-18-2021 at 08:17 PM. |
