I reserve the right to actually see the movie before voting.

My instincts tell me Norton, but Bana is a fav of mine and he was the best thinig about Ang Lee's version....and Troy.

It's hard to say since they're not working with the same material, but seeing how Edward Norton is my favorite actor, I'll have to say him.

I will say this, Eric Bana was great not only in Troy, but also Black Hawk Down. So I gotta give some credit to Bana for those great films.

I think he's pretty underrated. His work in Munich was astounding as well, to me.

I love Ed Norton, but the alledged back lot shenanigans didnt do much for me, and I just think the Hulk re-boot, no matter how well intentioned, is just too soon on the heels of the last one.

That said, I will see it and it will hopefully be quite awesome.

Ed Norton. Not becuase one actor is better than the other (that's for another thread). Banner was a skinny less than average guy (albeit genius). Norton can pull that off better than the giant Bana (who is 6'3" and in very good shape). Heck Bill Bixby was closer to Banner than Bana was.

Having said that, I love Eric Bana. Think he's a great talent.

Did I miss something? Are we supposed to compare performances when one of the movies hasn't been released yet? Sounds kind of asinine to me.

Agreed. I would like to see the new hulk first. Both are good actors, and Bana may very well be underrated as an actor.

I would have to wait until after seeing the new movie. I think my choice will be a clear one. Bana is a good actor, but his performance as Bruce Banner was NOT a good interpretation of the character.

I am sure that Bana did the best he could with the script given and with direction from Ang Lee.

I'm sure he did, but what Blu Titan is referring to is that Banner is: 5' 9½", 128 lbs.

Eric Bana: 6'2", ??? Probably 200 pounds
Ed Norton: 6', 154 pounds

Eric Bana can't physically play Banner (the puny scientist)

Size has little to do with a good portrayal of a part. Hugh Jackman is nearly a foot taller then Wolverine is supposed to be, but he did a good job as Wolverine. Of course it would be odd if someone called the movie Wolverine a runt, because he is just as tall if not taller then most of the characters.

I get that Banner is a puny scientist, and I like the idea of a smaller guy playing the part.
