Default Why no IMAX aspect ratio on Blu-Ray?
Hey Guys,

there are many movies which have a IMAX release with the IMAX aspect ratio.
But i don´t understand why we get often not this ratio on the Blu-Ray?!

There enough examples of movies, where we are lost 26% of the Picture at the Blu-Ray:
Avengers:Infinity War (the sadest decision of all movies)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazars Revange
Beauty and the Beast (Live-Action)
Only the Brave
Blade Runner 2049
Maze Runner: The death Cure
Oblivion
...

WHY? Maybe because of an contract with IMAX?
Who descides which version of the movie will press at the Blu-Ray?


I hate the big black bars on my screen.
But i hate it much more, if i know it exist a version without this bars :-(
