The time has finally come - MONSTER SQUAD is out now! The first legal Blu-ray release in Europe!

Instead of using the 10-year old Lionsgate-master, we've did some work and restoration on the Paramount-master. And yes, we think that it's quite an improvement over the Lionsgate release. No more DNR, no more skewed red tones, that made Dracula's cape look magenta-colored, no odd looking color filters, and a much more crisp and detailed picture with a very high bitrate. We've done everything we possibly could, to make sure that one of our all-time favorites looks like a film from the 80's should.

It's been a very long road, leading up to this release, and we can't wait for you to finally get this wonderful edition. As an appetizer, here's a video with a comparison between our version and the one from Lionsgate. Just please keep in mind, that the picture quality has been heavily compressed due to YouTubes very own videofilters. Never came across Wicked-Vision as a label before but looks fantastic with releases like this, TerrorVision, Ghost Town, Thesis, The Ferpect Crime and others, including plenty of new extras.

So just thought I'd mention, I made a pretty hefty order with Wicked-Shop today as they do impress me with the following;

- Excellent web-site, easy to navigate and English friendly
- very unique titles in some cases

- able to submit an application to "join' (not required though) very quickly
- they remove all VAT for NA orders!

Mine came in yesterday and it looks fantastic and having the original poster art for this released and all the extras that were on the Lionsgate DVD. Remembering at my local video rental store seeing this title on the shelves when it was first released and waiting all these years for a definitive release until now.

I preordered cover C (the old school artwork) and received cover E (newly commissioned artwork) by mistake. My customer service interactions with Wicked Vision have been pretty strange. I provided the photos of the incorrect order next to the included packing slip with my correct order on it. First, I heard nothing for a few days, then I received an email asking if I had received a signed collector card with it. I said yes, and then referred them back to my three photos attached to the original message. Then, several more days with zero communication, so I asked for a status update since shipping takes about a month from Germany to Phoenix, AZ. I received a response from an entirely different agent when stating they had holidays coming up and after they were over, he would ship me an empty mediabook with no discs. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Anybody else's order get screwed up?

strange but nice movie. Never seen before. The bonus-Features are interesting with all those interviews. Incl. a extra DVD with interviews (audio-Only) with the cast. For non-english speaking Viewer: - there are GERMAN SUBTITLES available - All bonus-Features (making of/interviews/audio-commentary) having Option german subtitles. - AND YES, not everybody speaks perfect englisch and some might be hard Hearing. so I would say... this Set is great.

Hi, you wrote with me. Unfortunately I have to do everything alone again. Shop, product management etc. Therefore, the answer may take some time, sorry. But as I wrote to you, you get a new mediabook. I am still on vacation for a few days, then I will send you a Mediabook without discs. You already have the discs and can watch this. And as I wrote: Of course, you do not have to send the other Mediabook back.

I am very sorry that it takes a while, but we did not expect this effort on orders and I just had to take a few days break before the VHS boxes are delivered. I will send you the tracking number as soon as your cover has been sent.

The VHS boxes can be pre-ordered. We should get the boxes late this week, beginning next week. Then they will be sent to the customer.
