It's been years since the last time I had to install a custom firmware patch to make a DVD-ROM drive region free, but trying to look for resources these days just leads me to a bunch of websites, including what I think was the largest archive of such patches online.
Does anyone know where I could still feasibly find firmware patches to make any new (or even old) drive region free for DVDs, if VLC or Leawo or whatever have figured out how to bypass the hardware region coding entirely, or am I SOL? |
