On Samsung's 4K streaming service the theatrical version is offered in UHD while the more recently completed Rogue Cut is available in HDR UHD. Odds on you're getting the Rogue Cut first up on UHD Blu-ray.

point being, if you’re a physical media lover, every ‘UHD’ movie is good for somethin,

e.g. greater than 8bit bit depth, wider color gamut than 709, higher dynamic range (HDR).

Thank goodness I held off on picking up The Rogue Cut during Black Friday.

Will wait for this UHD title to be released, and read the reviews before making a decision

expensive.. the movie is 2K mastered Digital Intermediate. single BDs is very low price than upscaled to 4K UltraHD with HDR.

X-Men: The Last Stand debuted on BD around the time of the PS3 launch. It's kinda cool to see another X-Men title launching with another new format. DOFP is one UHD title I will definitely purchase on day 1.

I'm not sure. I've ordered Rogue Cut BDs. The delivery will drop shipped at Noon.

I don't know about UltraHD 4K has or not.

Foxconnect often has some wrong information on their pre-order listings. But the date is most likely accurate.
