Can't wait to see how flat and muted the daylight scenes will look. All the apologists can already prepare their "But it was graded to be watched in a dark room!" defense.

Prefer the Theatrical cut for the way that it just opens in the middle of the club. It's an arresting way to begin.

One of those films that seeing it on release I didn't appreciate just how excellent it is. Now I can watch it a couple of times in the same sitting.

Same. I saw that cut first and was just a bit lost. I had no idea who anyone was other than Crocket and Tubbs. Eg the other cops in the team.
