Hey all. I'm running a Sony BDP-s5100 region-free from 220 electronics through a Sony str-dn860 receiver through a TCL Roku 4k 55inch via ARC. The receiver is 6 ohms and my speakers are 8, but evenly matched in wattage. I'm suddenly getting distortion in the fronts and surrounds and only on some discs- tried all 3 Hobbit extended and get the dirty sound from the menus and in the features. Tried other discs with 5.1 or 7.1 and no issues. Also no issues with 2 channel music or netflix or Sling tv.
Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions. I couldn't have had 3 different discs suddenly go bad, right? |
