Which other movie apps/forums/websites/podcasts do you use? - Blu-ray Forum

For me....

* IMDB - App & Website
* Rotten Tomatoes - Website
* Cinemark - Website
* IGN - App
* Blu-Ray - Website & Forum
* Blank Check - Podcast

I use to go to Aint It Cool a lot but have mostly gotten away from that place because the news is old and the posters are so negative.

It seems like there isn't many good movies news apps.

What about you? What are your favorites?

IMDb (used thier forums everyday but still use it for general info) and this place. That’s pretty much it. Not the apps though. The straight forward websites.

I don’t understand the point in using an app for specific websites when you can just go through your browser. Why download separate apps?

I know space is not a concern for a lot but why not just go directly to a site? It’s a weird thing to me. Plus imo mobile versions of almost any traditional site are annoying to use for some reason.

As far as forums, just World of KJ.

Otherwise I use Rotten Tomatoes, and Deadline for news.

Can anyone else recommend a good site for UHD disc reviews? The only one that consistently updates (that I've found) is this fine forum. I've been basing my wishlist of Black Friday UHDs on this site's reviews, but other than going into each individual thread to see what others are saying (which has also been immensely helpful) I would love to get other opinions from different sites.

High Def Digest is decent for UHD reviews. Just a suggestion. They are relatively current.
