I wonder if this series would ever make it to Bluray, since Superman is a popular character.
Haven't seen this but I'd love too. The complete series was released on DVD by Warner in 2006. http://www.amazon.com/Adventures-Superman-Collection-George-Reeves/dp/B000HWZ4GQ/ has anyone seen any HD versions on TV? |

Three years late to the party, but I’m wondering this myself. The character and the series still has a huge following. I’m surprised it hasn’t seen a BD release. Maybe the DVD sets didn’t sell well enough for Warner to pursue an HD release?

I've been watching the color episodes on DVD over the past couple months. The episodes themselves look great. The opening credits are in pretty bad shape, pretty beat up with lots of scratches. Also the copyright date of opening credits doesn't match closing credits. Opening credits is always 1957. Wondering if the same piece of film was used for all the episodes, the best condition one they could find.
