So which albums outside the epic SAHB discography are the best ones?
We got: Alex Harvey and His Soul Band - "Alex Harvey and His Soul Band" (1964) Alex Harvey - "The Blues" (1964) Alex Harvey - "Roman Wall Blues" (1969) Tear Gas - "Piggy Go Getter" (1970) Rock Workshop - "Rock Workshop" (1970) Tear Gas - "Tear Gas" (1971) Alex Harvey - "The Joker is wild" (1972) As you already know, Alex left SAHB right after the release of "SAHB Stories" (September 1976 or so). In February 1977, the four remaining guys released: SAHB (without Alex) - "Fourplay" (only available on CD as vinyl rip, what a shame) And then, after "Rock Drill", the band disbanded in early 1978... forever. Alex Harvely then released: Alex Harvey - The New Band - "The Mafia stole my guitar" (1979) Alex Harvey - "The soldier on the wall" (1982) Last edited by UniSol GR77; 11-26-2018 at 09:47 PM. |
