Default Samsung Q9FN TVs with no DTS sound!!!

Hello. I am thinking of buying a Samsung Q9FN TV model but i am a bit concerned because it does not support DTS Sound. Many of my blu-ray discs like Happy Death Day offer only DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound as an option. Does this mean that i will not be able to experience loseless sound or even worse not sound at all? Please help!

Set the player to output PCM and it will convert to lossless PCM 2.0 for you if you are using the built-in speakers.

If you are using a soundbar or AV receiver, it doesn't matter so much what the TV supports for discs.

No need to fret about not getting lossless sound if you’re only going to listen to it using your TV speakers. Those speakers can’t resolve the difference anyway.

Meh, anybody really care about sound quality will not use TV speakers or soundbar. Why would Samsung need to spend extra money for licensing?

Then you don’t need DTS. There is no way you can tell the difference between lossy, lossless, DTs, Dolby, PCM through TV speakers. It’s physically impossible.
