A little more on pricing from The Hollywood Reporter:

Quote:
Star Wars movies will be on the higher side, or $9.99 to purchase. They'll be on sale from April 28 and end on May 4, timed to the fanboy holiday Star Wars Day. Older movies in the franchise cost around $14.99 to purchase, while the most recent installment, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, can be bought for around $19.95.

The Disney titles that are part of the "Princess Collection" (May 19-25) will likewise cost around $9.99 to buy. The include the classic animated pics Aladdin, The Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Documentaries from Disneynature will cost $7.99 to purchase, on average. They'll be on sale April 21-27, tied to Earth Day.

Otherwise, most of the movies featured during the promotion will start at $4.99. A number of the titles are from the 20th Century Fox library that Disney acquired following its acquiring 21st Century Fox, but aren't yet on Disney+, as are many of the other films that are part of the new on-demand promotion.

I was scanning the list for Color of Money too. That's one movie that desperately needs a blu-ray remaster but I would go for a nice HD digital version if it was available...

For people in to sports movies, I would recommend Goal! The Dream Begins. It's pretty entertaining. It's MA compatible but unfortunately it suffers from one of those situations where each service has its own cut of the movie. Disney only distributed it in the US and when released theatrically they dubbed over some of the language and cut a few scenes to make a PG cut. I believe the Vudu version is the PG cut, Apple says it's PG-13 but still has some cuts and Amazon had the actual PG-13 version without cuts that was on DVD and Blu-ray (I think that's how it was, it's been a while since I watched it)

I wonder if the starting at $4.99 means only 1-2 of that week will be that cheap. I highly doubt each star wars movie will be available at $4.99 each in UHD in MA.

You could get all 11 star wars movies for an insanely good deal.

Ones I looked at like Bohemian Rhapsody and Greatest Showman are available for $4.99 on UHD. Very possible Star Wars could be at that price.

May 12-18 is going to be the expensive week for me

I'm definitely curious about this as well. The whole "starting at" is too ambiguous, but I did go through the whole list of titles for this week. All of them are listed at $4.99, at least at Vudu. I really hope that'll be the case for at least the majority of the titles, especially the SW titles. Salivating...

Go figure... some of these I just bought fairly recently on these iTunes/VUDU $7.99-9.99 sales they've been having.

But a lot of them I still haven't purchased. This is gonna be sweet if they're all indeed five bucks.

any possible likelihood of 4K Disney showing up in iTunes?

You'd think they'd be hurting right now and finally just let it happen to cash in on all the hold-outs
