Any more updates recently on this release? I remember buying my Panny 10 with the sole purpose of picking this Fox film up then it got delayed (stayed the course regardless, though - obviously) - and I'm now eagerly looking to its supposed February 5 release. Is this still the date through any recent information?

I know some places in Europe already have theirs on shelves.

Yes, it'll definately be out that day. They had the problem fixed within a week, but they missed their replication slot

The disc is done and approved, as shown by the European release

I too am waiting for this movie. Man, there are a lot of movies coming out that I want. My fiance is going to kill me. I am supposed to be saving for our wedding.

I am looking forward to Breaker Morant, ID4, Across the Universe (her favorite this year, so I'll be able to get away with this one), 3:10 to Yuma and Master and Commander.

Why wouldn't the story on the home page "Fox Announces Q1 Blu-ray Titles" make any mention of the Feb 5th release of Master and Commander? Does anyone else find that odd?

Or is it just a news blurb about *newly* released Fox titles and therefore, no need to re-address M&C? It is one of my most highly anticipated new releases coming soon.

Already released in spain, I just saw it in a supermarket. Their BD selection was quite bigger than in most places, and HD-DUD was nowhere to be seen

The disc is indeed available in Europe. Something funny about it is: it first announces "UNIVERSAL" at the start of the disk.

isnt buying movies more important than a wedding? i think the fiance would understand

I want M&C too! I have been tempted to watch my DVD of it since I got the flatscreen last summer, but I'm trying to hold out until the BD arrives... it's hard...
